Terms of service

The terms for using LotClock: the dealer app, the API, and LotClock in an AI assistant. By using an access code you agree to them on behalf of your business.

What LotClock is

LotClock reads the inventory pages that dealerships in southeastern Michigan publish, every night, and measures what comparable vehicles are asking and how long they stay listed. Its figures are asking prices from public listings, not sale prices, and not a valuation or appraisal. A vehicle's condition, history, title and equipment can make it worth more or less than its comparables, and LotClock cannot see those. Use its answers as one input to your own judgment.

What you may not do

Availability and changes

We work to keep LotClock running and accurate, but it is provided as it is, without a promise that it will always be available, complete or free of error. We may change what LotClock offers and these terms; the new terms are posted here with their date, and continuing to use LotClock after that means you accept them. Credits you already bought keep the cost and expiry they were sold with.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, LotClock is not liable for decisions made using its answers, or for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability to you is limited to what you paid LotClock in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending

You can stop using LotClock at any time. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
